Smoothies are a magic elixir. They’re sweet and healthy, refreshing and decadent at the same time—a welcome bundle of contradictions. The following recipe for an orange-blueberry smoothie comes from Rizwan Asad, who runs the food blog Chocolates & Chai out of Toronto. He describes how he became hooked on the drink during a trip to Dhaka, Bangladesh when he was seeking a special burst of energy in the morning. He fiddled with a few versions and developed this recipe, which is low-calorie, creamy, and chock-full of fruit.
